"My art is meditative and transient, such as life itself", this is how this unconventional artist describes his work.

Piero Del Bondio’s oeuvre moves between Minimal Art and Arte Povera. Again and again he succeeds in convincing with new facets of his creativity which is influenced by oriental philosophies. Soil, limestone and paper are the core materials of his creative work which impresses by archaic power, simplicity and strength of expression. The sculptures, installations, drawings and watercolours make the viewer perceive everyday things in diversified perspectives and in new dimensions, they are intense and radiate a contemplative peace at the same time.
